#YesJaydo An Effective Initiative for MCO Survivor
Jaydo Shimmer is the first local brand in Malaysia, launched in April during the Movement Control Order (MCO), which offers body works products to rapidly boost business during this COVID-19 pandemic.
Projek57 and Yayasan Era Suria (YES) joined this initiative to help those who are in need, focusing on women empowerment and youth education.

“Jaydo feels honoured to give back 10% of their customer purchase to the community and we from Jaydo really hope this initiative will continuously be supported by all Malaysians,” said Ezaieda Fazira, founder of Jaydo Shimmer.

She believes, in line with the 2020 Merdeka tagline, #MalaysiaPrihatin, local NGOs namely YES and Projek57 will give high impact to targeted communities via this campaign.
“In conjunction with the 63rd Malaysia Independence Day, YES answers the government’s call by initiating #ProjekYesJaydo which starts in August until September,” according to R. Nantha Kumar, Executive Director of Yayasan Era Suria.

This campaign is actively promoted on social media platforms hoping that other local brands will also support this movement by doing a Tiktok Shout Out video with the Merdeka song, and post it on their social media accounts by using the following hashtags: #MalaysiaPrihatin and #ProjekYesJaydo.

Debbie Choa, Director of Youth Empowerment Projek 57, is honoured to be alongside Jaydo Shimmer through this #ProjekYesJaydo to boost confidence, and to deliver Merdeka values among Anak Orang Asli at Projek 57.
