Calling for Blood Donors Again
The National Blood Centre of Malaysia is once again calling upon blood donors to donate their blood, especially those of Types A & B, as reserves are running dangerously low.
This shortage is due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic that has disrupted the donation schedule of regular blood donors.
With the country locked in a Movement Control Order (MCO) beginning 18th March, blood donation drives were temporarily halted. It is only recently that these essential campaigns resumed, albeit slowly, when the country is under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO).
Dear donors, kindly make your way to the nearest hospital blood bank. Thank you.
