Walkabout Heritage Trail with Datuk Bandar

The Ipoh City Council (Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh), Tourism Perak and Perak Tourism Association (PTA) jointly organised a ‘Walkabout Heritage Trail with Datuk Bandar’ programme at Ipoh Old Town yesterday morning.

The event was led by Ipoh Mayor YBhg. Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin, Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Perak Nurmalis Musa, and President of PTA YBhg. Dato’ Odzman Kadir.

Some 50 people participated in the walk; individuals who are involved in the tourism sector as well as public agencies.

During the walk, Dato’ Rumaizi expressed his aspiration for Ipoh to be a well-known tourism destination in Malaysia by 2025, as he urged all parties to work together to realise this goal.
