SCREAMFEST 2: FREAKSHOW – Freakish Wonders Roam the Mystical Lands of Sunway Lost World of Tambun
Get ready to scream your lungs out this October when you visit Sunway Lost World of Tambun (LWOT), every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as on Halloween Day, which falls on 31st October. This is because an enchanting yet spellbinding Halloween festival known as SCREAMFEST is back for its second year at the mystical lands of the theme park, which have stood for over 400 million years.
As you are welcomed by the freaks and oddities, prepare for a frightful yet fantastical journey that will be etched into your memory for a lifetime.
“We are proud to announce the return of SCREAMFEST 2 – our annual Halloween event that not only boosts domestic tourism but also offers a unique Malaysian experience,” said Mr. Nurul Nuzairi, Senior General Manager of Sunway Theme Parks. “We welcome our diverse community, young and old, to indulge in the enchanting narratives of folk and local stories, as we contribute to the Visit Ipoh Year 2023 campaign and at the same time, gear up for Visit Perak Year 2024,” he added.
This one-of-a-kind SCREAMFEST 2: FREAKSHOW is helmed by some 200 different unearthly characters. It offers five haunted attractions (Mistika Tambun, Whispers of Sorcery, Denai Puaka, Luminous Forest: A Dystopian Journey, and Express 999), five rides, three different stage shows, and a Scare Zone area.
The theme park’s popular Flaming Percussion is incorporated as part of SCREAMFEST 2: FREAKSHOW, levelling up the excitement for visitors in Rise of Wendigo. Mark your calendars and brace yourselves for an unforgettable Halloween experience filled with chilling screams, shocking surprises, and ghoulish delight!
