Surprise Father’s Day Camping Adventure with Papa at Lost World of Tambun

Selected Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Lost World of Tambun Annual Pass holders were invited to participate in an exclusive one-of-a-kind camping event organised by Sunway Theme Parks, in collaboration with Decathlon, JomCha, and Express Photo Solution (EPS).

Held over the Father’s Day, naturally, weekend of 17th and 18th June, the twenty father/child pairs were surprised by the two-day, one-night treat, which was part of the theme park’s membership engagement initiatives. Following last month’s “Cooking with Mama” activity in conjunction with Mother’s Day, the theme park has shown that fathers are just as important.

Father’s Day is a special occasion to recognise a dad’s love and contributions. Therefore, in appreciation of their sacrifices, Sunway Theme Parks specially curated this “Camping with Papa” event to give fathers a break from their hectic schedules. It was also an opportunity to bond with their children by pitching a tent together, and spending the night amidst a serene natural setting by the limestone outcrop with a vantage view of the majestic Needle of Tambun.

The father/child teams of Camping with Papa also took part in “Attraction Hunt” that involved various educational and entertainment challenges, with time for fun water activities, before wrapping up the long Saturday with a finger-licking BBQ dinner, plus an exciting Flaming Percussion performance.
