Pasar Malam (Night Market) @ Taman Ipoh Jaya
With so many stalls, what can you find here? Besides the usual night market wares and finger food, you can also find fresh seafood, meat (beef), chicken and vegetables. Lots of vegetables! Saved us a trip to the wet market in the morning.
Also, once a month (every first Monday of the month), Parti Keadilan Rakyat’s ADUN Simpang Pulai YB Chan Ming Kai and his team set up a mobile service centre at this night market to serve the people. Obviously, I just had to request for an autograph for you! Now, let’s enjoy the rest of the photos…

Very interesting write up Emily, keep it up.
We are visiting Ipoh for the first time arriving on a
Friday and leaving on Sunday.
Our group is staying at Syuen hotel.
Is there any pasar malam located around our hotel
or within a 10-15 mins walking distance.
Thank you much
Paul POH
Where are you from?
Actually, that area nothing much interesting to see at night that’s within walking distance.
You can go over to this “food” street called Thong Sui Kai. Check this post: https://www.emily2u.com/karnival-penjaja-ipoh-2010-1malaysia-fabulous-food/
Or you can go shopping at Ipoh Parade.
