Business Resumes for Pasar Pagi & Pasar Malam with SOP
After almost 3 months of enforced holiday, morning and night markets are finally allowed to operate their business during the current Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) starting from 15th June, 2020, albeit with new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in place.
One of the most common questions asked is: Are children allowed? The answer is NO.
Look at this SOP. Besides leaving your personal particulars, temperature taken and cleaning your hands with hand sanitiser, there are other regulations to follow.
Importantly, each family is just allowed two pax to the market, and for a maximum duration of 20 minutes only. One thing is for certain, we cannot enjoy the pasar like we used to, jalan-jalan, window shopping, and eating on the move. Basically, this is the joy of the market, especially the pasar malam, and it is being taken away from us.
Away you go, COVID-19!
Make sure everyone adheres to SOP while trying to get back to normal.
