Movie Premiere: Justice League @ Resorts World Genting (RWG)

Yours truly and a group of bloggers were invited to Resorts World Genting (RWG) on Wednesday (15th Nov) for the premiere of Justice League, a movie on the superheroes of DC Comics.

While the premiere at RWG’s PictureHouse Cinema was not the only venue or was it the first to host a Justice League premiere, to attend the premiere at RWG was an experience in itself, an enhancement to an already huge event such as the pre-launch of Justice League blockbuster for Malaysian public viewing on 16th Nov.

RWG provided us bloggers with a sneak peak of a total lifestyle experience at SkyAvenue. Obviously, due to time constraints, we were not able to experience everything that SkyAvenue offers, but from what we were introduced to, I can only say that we yearn to spend more time there. If only all of us didn’t have to go back to work the following day!

So, what about Justice League? If you are a huge fan of these DC Comics superheroes, you would have pre-booked your cinema tickets already. Well, if you haven’t, don’t delay as this is one of the biggest movies to hit the silver screen this year.

For the first time, Justice League has brought together DC Comics’ most popular superheroes of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman.

The movie opens with the mourning of the death of Superman but there wasn’t time to grieve as there was a catastrophic invasion on humankind by a newly awakened super-villain in the form of Steppenwolf.

To be successful in the invasion of the planet, Steppenwolf had to hunt down and bring together three Mother Boxes to secure the ultimate power. Could he succeed? Will the combined superpowers of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman be able to break Steppenwolf’s stranglehold?

Although I can’t say that I am a huge fan of superheroes, Justice League is a must watch and it is best done at the cinemas to enjoy the full CGI and DOLBY sound effect.

Justice League is action packed and will keep you on the edge of your seat but it has its comical moments as well, especially in the Flash. He’s supposed to be the youngest among the superheroes and most inexperienced, anyway.

So, go ahead and make a beeline at the box office. You won’t regret spending 2+ hours on a movie. Remember to stay back after the movie for two credit scenes at the end. You don’t want to miss them!

Of course, a celebration of Justice League is not to be done just anywhere. RWG has arranged for a festivity of this long-awaited superhero-laden Justice League with joyous fanfare, from interactive games to photo ops and merchandise to feed the hunger of fans.

These activities take place only from 10th to 16th November, at Level 3 of SkyAvenue, where the DC Superheroes Comics Retail & Cafe is located.
