Miss Tourism International 2025 to Shine Bright in Malaysia

Malaysia welcomes the world once again as it proudly hosts the 28th Miss Tourism International 2025 World Final, an event that celebrates not just beauty but also cultural exchange and international friendship.

The pageant runs from 4th to 20th October 2025, bringing together delegates from 40 countries. The grand highlight, the World Final Coronation Night, will take place on 18th October 2025 at the Genting International Showroom (GISR), Resorts World Genting, promising a dazzling night of glamour and culture.

Since its debut in 1994, Miss Tourism International has become one of Malaysia’s greatest success stories on the global pageantry map, a platform that unites nations under the shared spirit of “Promoting Tourism, Culture and Friendship.”

A Timely Celebration Supporting Visit Malaysia 2026

The timing of this year’s event is especially meaningful, aligning with Malaysia’s nationwide efforts to promote Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026).

For the first leg of the competition (4th – 13th October 2025), the delegates are based at Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil, where they take part in promotional visits, CSR initiatives, and cultural showcases.

The second phase (14th – 19th October) will see them travel to Resorts World Genting for rehearsals and final preparations before the grand coronation night.

As international tourism ambassadors, these 40 delegates shine a spotlight on Malaysia’s diversity, hospitality, and beauty, showcasing why the country remains one of the world’s most captivating travel destinations.

The Visionary Behind the Pageant

Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi, the visionary founder of Miss Tourism International, has dedicated decades to promoting Malaysia through international pageantry.

Under his leadership, the brand has expanded from just 20 participating nations in 1994 to over 120 countries today. His mission has always been clear: to make Malaysia a global hub for cultural diplomacy and pageant excellence.

Miss Tourism International stands out for its distinctive format. Instead of a traditional “runner-up” system, it crowns five equally prestigious titleholders each year, celebrating multiple forms of excellence on the international stage.

The 28th Miss Tourism International 2025 will bring together participants from five continents, each championing their country’s culture while serving as ambassadresses of tourism.

Throughout their stay, the delegates get to experience Malaysia’s most iconic attractions, take part in CSR programmes, and engage with the media, all while promoting cultural understanding.

This world final is presented by Mahsiah Media Group with strong backing from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, Tourism Malaysia, and several esteemed partners. Together, they ensure the pageant continues to reinforce Malaysia’s reputation as a leading tourism destination.

An Evening of Elegance and Culture

The Miss Tourism International 2025 World Final promises an evening of glamour, elegance, and heartfelt celebration. Guests can look forward to a night featuring cultural performances, captivating entertainment, and the much-loved national costume parade, a visual feast that pays tribute to the artistry and heritage of each participating nation.

Winners will be chosen by a distinguished panel of judges comprising industry experts, celebrities, and former beauty queens. Besides the main titles, the evening will also see 2 special awards and 11 subsidiary titles presented to the outstanding delegates.

Fans from across the world can get involved by voting for their favourite delegate in the Dreamgirl of the Year International 2025/26 online contest.

The voting period runs from 15th September to 17th October 2025 at dreamgirl.1voting.com. The winner will be crowned during the World Final and will automatically secure a Top 10 placement.

A Grand Gala at Resorts World Genting

The World Final Gala Dinner will be held on 18th October 2025 at 6pm at the Genting International Showroom, Resorts World Genting, Pahang. A sumptuous dinner and world-class entertainment await guests attending this spectacular night.
