Run-up to Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2024: Celebrating Culture, Charity, and Community

Since 1990, the Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant has showcased Malaysia’s rich culture and tourism.

Founded by Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi, the pageant has crowned 118 queens who have promoted Malaysia locally and internationally. This pageant is also known for its charity work, including the “Loving Sunday” initiative that started in 2014.

Helping at Ti-Ratana Welfare Society, Kuala Lumpur
Recently, the 2024 pageant finalists visited Ti-Ratana Welfare Society, a major NGO in Malaysia that helps over 250 children and 50 elderly people.

They joined the children in a fun colouring activity to celebrate Merdeka Day, spreading joy and a sense of community. The finalists also donated their clothes to those in need, showing their commitment to helping others.

The Grand Finale is Near
The Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2024 National Final will be held on 4th September at the Manhattan Ballroom, Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

With 16 finalists competing, this event supports Tourism Malaysia’s ‘Malaysia Truly Asia’ theme, welcoming visitors from around the world.
