Patrons of Restaurant SYW in Ipoh had a pleasant surprise yesterday when about thirty beauties arrived at the restaurant for a meal of succulent duck, the restaurant’s signature dish.
The ladies, finalists of Miss Malaysia Earth 2015 and title holders of past pageants, were invited by the management of Restaurant SYW to try out their various duck dishes.
The group was accompanied by chaperons and crew members from Star Avenue Production, the exclusive rights owner of the pageant.
The function, although included in the list of activities for the contestants leading up to the final on August 9 was a private affair, closed to the public or even press.
Besides the premier 4-in-1 roasted dish, comprising the signature roasted duck, pipa duck, roasted pork and barbeque pork, these special guests also had the opportunity to taste the restaurant’s choice claypot duck porridge and poached duck meat salad, among others.
Allow me to bring you some exclusive photos of the event. Everyone is impatient to find out who would emerge as the Queen come Sunday evening. As far as I am concerned, all of them are already winners for coming this far!
There are a few more obligations that these finalists have to fulfill before August 9. I shall see which events I am able to attend to bring you more exclusive photos.
