More Than 300 Varieties of Masakan Kampung to Buka Puasa at Hotel Excelsior Ipoh

Here’s the reveal of Hotel Excelsior Ipoh’s Ramadan buffet à la kampung to break fast during this coming holy month of Ramadan. Everyone, not only Muslims, can partake in savouring the best of Perak kampung-style cooking, helmed by the Malay-cuisine culinary team of Chef Nabil Fikri, Chef Kushairi and Chef Sabariah.

There are three specially curated menus to rotate every two days, each comprising more than a hundred items. The main courses are focused on masakan kampung (or Malay kampung-style cooking), specifically from Perak, in line with Visit Ipoh Year 2023. Signature items include crowd favourites such as Gulai Tempoyak Ikan Patin, Rendang Tok and Gulai Kawah.

Each menu begins with Appetisers, Soup, Main Courses, Desserts and Drinks, plus at least three Live-action Stalls: Noodles, Deep Fried and Grill Counter. All in all, a scrumptious meal is guaranteed.

Ramadan Buffet à la Kampung Excelsior begins from 25th March until 20th April 2023 (7pm – 10.30pm). Besides the food choices and the vast array of selections from appetisers to beverages that ensure a memorable meal with loved ones, what sets Hotel Excelsior Ipoh apart is the Live Performance on every Friday and Saturday. Enlivening the atmosphere with popular Malay and English songs, the entertainers are also open to song requests.

Early bird promotion has begun and lasts until 24th March, at RM65 nett per adult. Early bird redemption is from 25th March until 1st April 2023.

From 2nd until 20th April 2023, the following prices apply:
