The first Legoland Hotel in Asia welcomed its first guests in late November of this year. Its soft launch was on Dec 10 and was officiated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
The hotel, which targets families with children from 2 to 12 years of age, completed the transformation of Legoland from a tourist attraction into a unique holiday destination.
When fully opened, the hotel will offer a total of 249 bedrooms over three different themed floors over six levels, from Pirate to Adventure and Kingdom. The hotel offers 6 accessible rooms – 3 themed and 3 premium themed.
Standard and Premium themed rooms can accommodate up to five guests while Deluxe themed suites accommodate up to eight.
All rooms are sold at Best Available Rate (BAR), which means that prices fluctuate according to demand. Some rooms may even be selling at RM1800 per night!
Engaging children as much as possible, the only time children are allowed to rest is during bedtime, unless they are willing to forgo the mystery gift that’s available for them only if they are able to break the secret code. Don’t worry, though, as all the answers are found in the room.
