Pirate-Themed Beach Party

Brandishing swords and pistols, guests dressed as menacing pirates attended the pirate-themed beach party hosted by Marina Island Pangkor Resort & Hotel for travel agents and friends from the media.

The resort had organised a 2D/1N familiarisation trip for these guests who came from as far as Selangor, to unveil their new block of deluxe suites, named D’Ocean.

In due time, there will be a total of three blocks of suites. The first block is called D’Sea. All spotting a “water” theme, I wonder what the third and final block will be named.

As guests tucked into a delectable international buffet spread, they were entertained by a group of artistes from the Royal Malaysian Navy.

The best dressed male and female pirates were rewarded with resort stay vouchers and hampers, after strutting down a catwalk and judged by the other guests through their applause.

Everyone was encouraged to participate in various party games to make the evening more enjoyable. All in all, a job well done by the management and staff of Marina Island Pangkor Resort & Hotel for their warm hospitality.
