Kinta Tin Mining (Gravel Pump) Museum, Kampar

Kinta Tin Mining (Gravel Pump) Museum, a fairly new attraction in Kampar, was unfortunately closed for the day when I was in town recently. Located along Jalan Batu Karang just at the junction to Bandar Baru Kampar (Kampar New Town), it is difficult to miss.

Visitors to the museum can retrace the tin mining history in Kinta Valley, particularly in Kampar, one of a handful of small towns in Perak with the richest tin deposits.

I will make a second visit to the museum and update this post with more photos, in due time.
