Ipoh City Council Receives Sponsorship from Lions Club International

The Lions Club International sponsored five bottles of Efferverscent chlorine disinfectant tablet and 100 pieces of PPE (personal protective equipment) coverall to the Ipoh City Council (Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh) in an effort to help curb the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the city.

Received on behalf of the City Council yesterday was Tuan Haji Musa Dun, Pengarah Kanan – Perkhidmatan & Operasi, from Lion Lim Kok Peng, District Governor 308 B2 of Lions Club International.

According to Encik Musa Dun, this sponsorship is definitely useful in helping MBI in its efforts to eradicate the COVID-19 virus in the city. He also expressed hope that more non-governmental organisations would step forward to donate similar items to the City Council ensuring that Ipoh is always kept clean and protected from the COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected that the support from Lions Club International towards MBI’s endeavour is fruitful, to make Ipoh a Clean, Green and Advanced City.
