Introducing Morganfield’s New Pork Rib Platter

I recall what a tasty meal I had the pleasure to enjoy previously at Morganfield’s, SkyAvenue, and I expected no less this time ’round, when I revisited as part of the 24-Hour Food Trail Eating Marathon hosted by Resorts World Genting and SkyAvenue.

On this occasion, we were recommended the mini platter of pork ribs with five different flavours. The five sauces are: Black Pepper, Garlic, BBQ, Asian and Rib Rub (Original).

Do take note that this mini platter is not available on the menu. However, what’s being offered is a full-size platter of ribs, in a single flavour. This dish was launched in March.

Did you know that all of Morganfield’s pork ribs are imported from Europe? At Morganfield’s, these ribs are marinated overnight with a specially guarded recipe of spices and liquid smoke.

After that, they are slow cooked for many hours in the oven, to ensure that the ribs are juicy and off-the-bone upon the gentlest touch of a knife.

The ribs are smothered with diners’ choice of sauce and chargrilled to perfection before being served.

Did you notice the mini Sticky Bones flags? It means that you are highly recommended to eat with your hands, getting your hands sticky, and I’m not joking!

Having tried all five flavours of ribs, I still cannot decide which one is my favourite. I need to go for a second round to decide. Join me?

It’s been a long time since I visit Morganfields. Guess I should revisit again.
Shout out yo Morganfield – please come to Manila! I’m jealous with Emily, hehehe.
