FUSHIN Hotel Tainan – 富信大飯店 or Tainan Fushin Hotel is a four-star business hotel situated in the heart of the bustling city of Tainan, just a few minutes’ drive from Eirakucho Drum Tea House 永樂町鼓茶樓-答嘴鼓.
Housed in a classical baroque building with palatial architecture, you would expect all the facilities and amenities that are offered by an international grade hotel of this stature, including friendly English-speaking staff, and that is what guests will get when they check in at FUSHIN Hotel.
Opened its doors for business since 2014, there are a total of 174 guest rooms in the following nine categories: Standard Double Room, Superior Twin Room, Superior Triple Room, Standard Family Room, Superior Family Room, Deluxe Family Room, Deluxe Double Room, Business Room, and Premier Room.
Spacious guest rooms are elegantly appointed in impressive royal style for a classy look and feel, blended with elements of local culture.
Having stayed one night at FUSHIN Hotel on a stopover at Tainan, it undoubtedly became my choice accommodation should I find myself in the city again during my next Taiwanese vacation, because of its comfort and tip-top services provided, in particular its convenient location, at the busy junction of Ximen Road and Chenggong Road.
The hotel, near Tainan Railway Station, is literally just steps away from the street food haven of Guohua Street, where YongLe Market is located.
As numerous well-known Taiwanese dishes were originated from Tainan, guests should take advantage of the convenience to explore popular neighbouring eateries, such as Fusheng Bowl Cakes, Asong Pork Belly Buns and Martial Temple Meatballs.
If you plan to visit attractions that are further away, then hop on the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel.
Besides Tainan Railway Station, some of the landmarks that the bus makes a stop at include Tainan Science Park, Dadong Night Market, Flower Night Market, and Anping Old Street. Remember to book your seat a day prior to your ride.
Another highlight for me is the free-of-charge self-service laundry, which is open 24/7, a notable convenience for international travellers, especially.
A banana (non-Mandarin speaking) guest like me might face trouble operating the machines, so it’s best to get a staff to assist. You bet that I made full use of both the washing machine and dryer, so that it meant one fewer load of clothing to wash when I returned home! Hurray!
For general information, FUSHIN Hotel Tainan has sister properties in Taipei and Taichung, owned and managed by a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Founding Construction & Development Co. Ltd. Founding was established in 1991 and listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in 2008.
FUSHIN Hotel has a sub-brand by the name of FUWARD Hotel, with a property in Tainan, located in the city centre.
