Nadias Hotel in the Heart of Cenang, Langkawi

Of the number of times that I have visited the Jewel of Kedah, I only recall staying at beach resorts: Four Points by Sheraton, Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort and Resorts World Langkawi come to mind.

During my most recent trip to Langkawi, on a weekend retreat hosted by the Ipoh City Council, we put up for two nights at Nadias Hotel. As you can see, it is not a fancy hotel. In fact, exteriorly, it looks like a dormitory.

However, facade can be deceptive. Do you know that the 3-star Nadias Hotel can easily be regarded as one of the most ideal hotels for its price range, due to its prime location, in the heart of happening Cenang?

Located adjacent to Cenang Mall, duty free stores, popular F&B outlets and a few minutes’ walk to Cenang Beach, one of the pristine beaches on the island, guests at Nadias Hotel are guaranteed a valued stay, without compromising on comfort and convenience.

The hotel also offers motorcycle rental. However, it was not necessary for me as everything that I needed was within walking distance.

Nadias Hotel Cenang Langkawi boasts 136 rooms of various categories: Deluxe Twin, Deluxe King, Deluxe Quad, Deluxe Family and Junior Suites, including disabled-friendly rooms.

All guest rooms are thoughtfully appointed and equipped with modern amenities, such as flat screen television set with selected satellite channels, individually-controlled air-conditioner, hot shower, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, as well as safety box. Hair dryer is available upon request.

For the convenience of business travellers, guest rooms are also fitted with a work desk and in-room WiFi connection. If required, three function rooms are available for small meetings and workshops.

To cater to holidaymakers, tours, island hopping and other recreational activities can be arranged. For those who require transfers, do make a request at the front office.

Although there are numerous eateries near Nadias Hotel, guests who wish to dine in-house may do so at the many dining options offered by Nadias, from its coffee house (Nadias Café), to Flo Lounge, Echo Pool Bar, Flo Street, or even in-room dining.

Obviously, Nadias Hotel Cenang Langkawi, with its friendly services, offers value for money to guests. If I could just spend my time fully within the hotel, I would.
