Dinner with Perak Media Sports and Welfare Club

Members of the delegation that went on a goodwill expedition to Beijing, China, to foster closer ties between the Chinese city and Malaysia, particularly Perak, had an informal gathering one month after the date of the trip.

Also invited to dinner organised by Perak Media Sports and Welfare Club were press friends and sponsors.

Committee members of the club took the opportunity to honour super senior member Lam Pun Ying, who will be retiring this June. Uncle Lam, as he is fondly called, has been with Radio Television Malaysia as videographer for forty years.

Persatuan India Muslim Perak (PRIM), represented by Mohamed Arib Aliah, also presented a token of appreciation to the media club for their recent collaboration in a charity deed.

The gathering gave everyone an opportunity to catch up socially, and not just meet up because of assignment, where we don’t have the time to chit chat.
