Christmas Carollers with the Wind Orchestra
As a run up to Christmas, the management of Ipoh Parade, a premier shopping mall in the city, has arranged a series of entertainment for shoppers beginning from last weekend.
Due to my tight schedule, I had to be selective on which time slot I would be there.
I chose the performance by the Kinta Valley Wind Orchestra, led by conductor Eugene Pook, because how often can one enjoy upper class entertainment in a public concourse?
On top of that, the orchestra was joined in by young singers from the Estee Pook Academy.
The angelic voices singing Christmas carols really set the mood for the shoppers, regardless of whether or not they observe Christmas.
Here is a selection of photos from the joyous event.
