It was an evening of love and romance at Dewan Serbaguna Bandar Baru Tambun, Ipoh, as guests were enchanted by melodic tunes from the Kinta Valley Wind Orchestra (KVWO), an orchestra managed by Kinta Valley Symphonic Society (KVSS).

With the theme Moonlight In The City, it was KVWO’s first concert of the year, and it drew upon the musical links along romantic repertoire.

The almost 60 musicians from different age groups and backgrounds were led by Ipohite conductor Aaron Chin, who once played for KVWO.

The evening’s repertoire kicked off with Alan Menken’s Walt Disney soundtrack, Enchanted, followed by Edward Elgar’s Nimrod.

Other love tunes played included Seventh Night of July by Itaru Sakai, Chrysanthemum Terrace by Jay Chou and Two Worlds by Phil Collins.

The lively event wrapped up with the popular soundtrack of Avengers: Endgame, I Love You 3000.
