Caring & Sharing in the Month of Ramadan

In the spirit of caring and sharing during the holy month of Ramadan, 65 deserving children from Pertubuhan Badan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Darulssalam were treated to a memorable breaking of fast at one of Ipoh’s premier hotels, Impiana Hotel Ipoh.

These junior guests were joined in by their guardians and two single-mother families.

At the annual event organised and hosted by the hotel, this year’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative was a collaboration with four other organisations: Persatuan Pegawai Kanan Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (PADUAN), Yayasan Abu Bakar, Pasaraya Econsave and Kelab Sukan & Kebajikan Media Perak.

The evening was graced by Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Raja Ahmad Zainuddin bin Raja Omar, Chairman of Pertubuhan Peladang Negeri Perak, who is also adviser to Kelab Sukan & Kebajikan Media Perak.

Besides being feted to a scrumptious buffet spread of Impiana Hotel’s signature local delights, each child received a heavily-stuffed goodie bag with sponsored items such as school bags, stationery and other schooling necessities.

Earlier in the day, the children were taken to Econsave Klebang to shop for Hari Raya clothes. Their shopping spree was sponsored by the hypermarket. Notice the joy on the faces of these children.

Pertubuhan Badan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Darulssalam is located in Sungai Rapat, Ipoh. It is a shelter for orphans and single mothers. There are about seventy residents at this time.
