On the menu of Great Miner Chinese Cuisine, Kinta Riverfront Hotel’s Chinese restaurant, is Peking Duck, at RM68+ per bird. Diners get to enjoy two different preparations of Peking Duck.

First preparation, which is compulsory, will be duck skin rolls in egg skins. Sliced skin of the Peking Duck is wrapped in thin egg “skins”, along with a spread of special duck sauce, plus strips of carrot, celery and spring onion. Served on a base of prawn crackers, it doesn’t only look good, but tastes delicious as well.

As for the second preparation, diners have a choice of three options:

a) braised-style duck with yellow noodles (sang mein)
b) cubed duck meat fried with oyster sauce (to be eaten wrapped in fresh lettuce)
c) shredded duck meat in black pepper sauce
