Announcement: 3rd Ipoh International Dancesport Championship
The highly anticipated ballroom and Latin dance competition is back for the third year.
Scheduled for Oct 11 at Kinta Riverfront Hotel, the 3rd Ipoh International Dancesport Championship is a collaboration between My Dancesport Studio and the Perak Society of Performing Arts (PSPA).
This competition is fully supported and endorsed by World Dance Council, Asian Dance Council And Malaysian Dancers’ Association. It has been recognised as a worldwide event in the World Dance Council Amateur League – Asia City Open Amateur Championship in the amateur ranking system.
Moreover, this championship has also been listed in the events calendar of World Dance Council Amateur League- Asia (WDC AL-ASIA).
The dance competition has attracted some 300 participants, not only from Malaysia but also international dancers.
They will be competing in different age groups, categories and levels. Besides the Modern and Latin sections, new events to look out for are Solo, Ladies and Synchronised dance.
These dancers, with age ranging from 6 to 60 years, will be judged by local and international professionals. It will be tightly contested, with RM7,000 in total cash prizes up for grabs.
Evening dinner tickets are available at RM200 per pax (VIP table), RM160 per pax (front row), RM120 per pax (second row) and RM100 (third row).
Day event tickets (free seating) are priced at RM30 per person.
