988 Ma Ma Mi Ah Chinese New Year Roadshow (988马马Mi呀 过好年)
DJs from one of Malaysia’s top Chinese language radio stations, 988 FM, were in Ipoh to celebrate Chinese New Year with fans. Older listeners would know that 988 FM first started broadcasting as Rediffusion.
The DJs engaged fans in games, and those who dared to participate in them won prizes. The DJs gave away CDs and signed autographs. Fans also had the opportunity to take photos with their favourite DJs.
Earlier in the morning, some 100 lucky fans were treated to a scrumptious dim sum breakfast at Foh San Dim Sum Restaurant, on a first come, first served basis. Judging from the laughter at Ipoh Parade’s concourse, everyone definitely had a good time.
