Honor 5th Anniversary Celebration + Fan Gathering x Wanuxi @ Ipoh
Some 20+ Honor users and fans, old and new, gathered at Olijasca Nourishment Cafe yesterday afternoon, to partake in the celebration of Honor’s 5th anniversary, as well as to forge friendships with like-minded people.
This Ipoh stop was Honor’s third in its series of workshops hosted in conjunction with achieving its 5th year milestone, having kicked off in George Town, Penang on 15th June. Other key cities that Honor will visit after Ipoh are Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur.
Partnering Wanuxi, media portal with a niche in gaming and currently expanding to mobile gaming, invitees were able to have a first try on the latest mobile games such as Perfect World, Empress Tales of the Heart, and Yukai Restaurant.
Obviously, the games were played on the latest Honor phone models, giving attendees an opportunity to personally assess how well Honor 20, Honor 20 Lite and Honor View 20 cope with resource intensive mobile games.
Honor is a sub-brand of Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., which targets the Gen Z segment of the community. On hand to explain about the brand’s mission and vision, as well as the latest models launched recently was Honor Malaysia Marketing Director Clarissa Ng.
To enliven the occasion, Honor Malaysia was very generous in its lucky draw prizes, with six fans winning Honor wearable devices, and one taking home the grand prize of Honor 8C. To qualify for the lucky draw, participants had to complete at least three tasks, one of which was to post a public photo on Instagram, with hashtags: #honorgatheringipoh and #honor5thanniversary. I failed to win a prize but congratulations to all who did!
