Ipoh Parade Chinese New Year 2011 Highlights
I chanced upon this event at Ipoh Parade last evening. It’s called “178 Chinese New Year Roadshow by OneFM, NTV7 & 8TV”. The show was in Chinese and being banana I totally didn’t get their jokes. I don’t even recognise any of these personalities on stage so I was not interested in buying their Chinese New Year DVD that was selling at RM29. Don’t ask me what the number 178 stands for. It could possibly represent the three respective stations involved but why this particular sequence? I didn’t take the trouble to find out! LOL (ETA: A friend told me that 178 sounds like “Let’s Prosper Together!” in Mandarin. Ah, no wonder!)
