60th Gurdwara Cup 2011 Men's Hockey Finals (Perak vs. Kuala Lumpur)

I finally managed to catch a game this evening and it was the men’s hockey finals between Perak and Kuala Lumpur. I am not a great hockey fan but since Perak is my home state I decided to support Perak. hehehe!

It’s unfortunate, though, that after watching international class hockey at the recent 20th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, I found this match between Perak and Kuala Lumpur too slow. The fans thought otherwise and they were very supportive.

I know I shouldn’t compare and that the players from both teams played the best they could. In the end, the best team won and it was Kuala Lumpur, and they walked away with the Gurdwara Cup, which was sponsored by the Sikh Police of Perak. The score was 1-0.
