22nd SAS Cup 2013: Day 3: Match 2: India (3) – Pakistan (1)
India met Pakistan in a fiery match, both teams playing at their best from the get-go.
Barely five minutes into the match, Pakistan forced a penalty corner and managed to convert it through Waqas Muhammad.
India did the same, and equalised through Rupinder Pal Singh the next minute, and took the lead shortly after, thanks to a field goal by Akashdeep Singh.
In the second half, the two teams couldn’t find any opening to score, agonising fans from both sides, until Mandeep Singh scored a field goal at the 59th minute. And the match ended without any additional goals.
