Despite losing the match, coach for Canada Anthony Farry believed that his team put up a good performance and it had been their best game thus far, goal-wise.
In his opinion, what could improve his team, he said that they have to possess the ball for longer periods of time, keep their consistency and eliminate errors in the field. Canada had at this juncture played four games without gaining a point yet.
Meanwhile, Dutchman Paul van Ass, only about five weeks into his role as Head Coach for India was jubilant to have scored five goals against Canada.
As new coach for India, he said the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup was an excellent tournament for him to identify who amongst his players can hold under pressure, check their skills individually besides as a team, and to gauge the strength of his defence line.
India now stand at fourth place with four points.
