What better way is there to usher in the Year of the fiery Rooster than with family over a meal flavoured with heart and love? Yes, a reunion dinner at Hotel Casuarina@Meru will be this meaningful when you gather with your loved ones on the eve of Chinese New Year.

Rolling out the kitchen of the Halal-certified hotel are gastronomical delights as you can see from the three sets of menus listed below. The photos accompanying this post are from Menu 3, priced at RM1188 nett per table.

Headed by Ipoh-born Chinese Chef Lee Chee Kheong, who has more than thirty years experience in the kitchen, the dishes are MSG-free, making your meal not only delicious but healthy!

Sifu Lee and his crew have produced a number of signature dishes specially for this Lunar Year of the Rooster. In this batch of photos, dishes that stand out include Casuarina Golden Crispy Chicken and Buttered Prawns, which are only available at Hotel Casuarina@Meru, Ipoh.

The good news is that these menus are not only served on the eve of Chinese New Year, but is available from 15th Jan to 12th Feb, 2017. Reservation is required, of course. Complimentary with each table are ten ang pows, courtesy of the God of Prosperity.

Other menu options for this Lunar New Year Yee Sang promotion are priced at RM788 nett and RM988 nett per table of ten pax. These sit-down course dinners are hosted at the Banquet Hall from 7pm to 11pm.

Meanwhile, Chinese New Year Buffet Hi-Tea is available on 28th and 29th Jan, 2017 at the Coffee House. That’s the first and second day of the Lunar New Year, from 12 noon to 5pm. Price per adult is RM45 nett and per child, RM20 nett only.

As for Chinese New Year Buffet Dinner, this is also only available on the first and second day at the Coffee House, from 7pm to 11pm. Prices are RM48 nett (adult) and RM20 nett (child).
