Top Spot Seafood Centre, Kuching
Top Spot is possibly one of Kuching’s best known food courts for fresh seafood, located in the heart of the Cat City.
With a great number of hawkers who offer fresh seafood, it reminded me of Johor Bahru’s Senibong. However, the owners here have the ingenious idea to place the food court atop a multi-level car park block.
I am not aware of something similar in Ipoh. I think that if the rooftop of De Garden’s multi-level parking block is converted into an eatery, it would be just as well-received.
Anyway, these photos were from the first dinner that we enjoyed during our recent trip to Kuching. I was famished, having travelled the whole day from Ipoh and inadvertently skipped lunch.
Undoubtedly, these are just a fraction of the items available on the menu! Judging from the dishes served to diners at adjacent tables, they looked delicious too! By the way, I can’t remember the exact name of our stall. It was probably Stall No. 1, offering halal fare.
