The Regency Garden Hotel

From this first photo, you can see that two shop lots have been converted into The Regency Garden Hotel. Currently, only one shop lot is ready for occupancy while the other is expected to be ready next month. There are a total of 15 rooms right now; deluxe double, deluxe twin and family rooms.

The name, The Regency Garden Hotel, sounds posh. This hotel is new, neat and clean, but the rooms are even smaller than Tune Hotel’s. However, I always tell visitors to Ipoh that choosing a hotel very much depends on the purpose of the visit.

For those who are looking for some of the best Ipoh food, this would be an excellent choice. It’s just a street away from popular food shops in Ipoh Garden East. It also faces the large Bandar Baru Medan Ipoh night market, that’s open every Tuesday evening from 7pm onwards.

It is also within walking distance to Tesco Hypermarket and Kinta City. Those with their own transport would find this hotel even more convenient.

In-room amenities include free WiFi connectivity, Astro channels, air-conditioning, hair dryer, hot water pot plus complimentary drinks, hot & cold shower, and also 5-star mattress. The hotel is also CCTV monitored in addition to security guards.

Peak season is Friday, Saturday, Eve & Public holidays.

Regular guests are encouraged to apply for the hotel’s membership card at RM30 (lifetime) that would entitle them to 15% discount on room rates.
