Seemsoon Hotel

There is yet another new hotel in Ipoh. This one, located just off the Pasir Puteh main road opens its doors for business this Sunday, May 13th. It is known as “Seemsoon Hotel”. If you are familiar with that part of town, you would be cognizant of this name. They are a huge second hand car dealer…. now venturing into the hotel business.

There are a total of six floors, 100 rooms with four room types: Standard, Superior, Deluxe, Family. All rooms come with a standard design with window view, and the difference is only in room size, beds and flooring. 1st floor has marble flooring, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th floors are carpeted while 5th floor spots wooden flooring. Family rooms are also equipped with long baths.

Rooms do not come with safe deposit box but there is a minibar, hair dryer and power shower. The hotel starts business with 30 rooms initially – the Deluxe and Superior Rooms first. Besides rooms, there are two cafés and a sky lounge on the 6th floor. There is no seminar room, gym or swimming pool.

Superior (2 single beds) – RM216++ / RM108++ / RM70++
Deluxe (1 double bed OR 2 single beds) – RM236++ / RM118++ / RM80++
Family (1 double bed + 1 single bed + long bath) – RM256++ / RM128++ / RM90++
