Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences, Kuala Lumpur
Strategically located in the heart of capital city Kuala Lumpur, between the bustling Bukit Bintang and colourful Chinatown, this four-star hotel and residences offer business and leisure travellers a refined experience.
The well-appointed guests rooms (296 rooms for hotel and 478 units of residences) are equipped with modern amenities for the ultimate ambience.
For your information, Swiss-Garden International Hotels, Resorts & Inns is Malaysia’s largest homegrown hospitality group with more than eleven hotels and a combined inventory of 2,800 rooms across its ten prime properties in Malaysia and one in Sydney, Australia.
I recently spent two nights at its residences and really enjoyed the convenience of this prime location. I could walk to Changkat Bukit Bintang where I explored the vibrant F&B scene.
Although I did not attempt to do so, it is also possible to walk to Chinatown, Low Yat Plaza, Sungai Wang Plaza and Berjaya Times Square. But then again, why walk when there is the convenience of complimentary shuttle service to some of the most popular spots in the city?
For guests who prefer to dine in-house, there are four F&B outlets within the property: Flavors Restaurant, Green Treats Delicatessen, The Blue Chip Lounge and Sino Scene Chinese Restaurant. I have a separate post on Sino Scene Chinese Restaurant here.
I am not sure about other travellers but when I stay at a hotel, I love checking out their recreational amenities, even if I may not have the time to utilise them! Both the hotel and residences have their respective swimming pools. Then there are the Jacuzzi and gymnasium, among other facilities.
I don’t deny that staying at this four-star Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences can be rather confusing for first timers due to the inter-connected buildings of the hotel and the two towers of residences. However, I believe that one could find his way easily after four or five days here.
I really enjoyed spending time at the sky garden, which is located on the 37th floor of the residences’ South Tower. One could get a bird’s eye view of a section of Kuala Lumpur, although I couldn’t really identify specific buildings.
