The PWW Baking Studio Bakes a Brighter Future

The Perak Women for Women Society (PWW) has embarked on an exciting new community project with The PWW Baking Studio. Situated at the community hall of Flat Taman Harmoni Buntong, this initiative empowers women from the B40 group by equipping them with valuable baking, including cooking skills that will open up employment opportunities or entrepreneurship.

PPR Flat Taman Harmoni Buntong Ipoh consists of 26 blocks, with a total of 400 households. The PWW Baking Studio will ensure that women in this community, most of them homemakers, have access to practical training, encompassing not only baking and cooking but also crucial elements of entrepreneurship and basic accounting. The PWW Baking Studio will also serve as a platform for these graduates to launch their home-based baking business and to market their products.

Beyond entrepreneurship, The PWW Baking Studio is a safe space where women can gather, foster support groups and exchange valuable tips or recipes. As mothers and wives, learning baking and cooking ultimately enables them to provide nutritious meals for their families.

The PWW Baking Studio is a well-structured project, with modules and programmes meticulously planned for each batch of participants. Experienced trainers and professional chefs are engaged to guide and facilitate their learning journey, with knowledge imparted on a wide array of baking techniques and cooking skills.

Through The PWW Baking Studio, PWW aspires to make a meaningful impact on the lives of women and their families, beginning with the PPR Flat Taman Harmoni Buntong community. This initiative is made possible with the collaboration of the Kawasan Rukun Tetangga (KRT) of PPR Flat Taman Harmoni Buntong Ipoh, and the generous sponsorship of PPB Group Berhad.
