In view of the prolonged lockdown that has affected the livelihoods of many, especially those who have been living from hand to mouth, MÙ Hotel Ipoh extended aid to the needy community by providing each household with a care pack that consists of food essentials such as rice, eggs, flour, cooking oil, biscuits, noodles, canned food and fresh vegetables.
The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative named #KitaJagaMU kicked off on 14th and 15th July, and covered hard-hit areas of Kampung Manjoi, Buntong, Sungai Pari and Taman Merdeka.
This outreach project was made possible via a collaboration with generous sponsors, namely Mr Dennis Han (Han & Han Agriculture Sdn Bhd) for the fresh vegetables, Mr Hiroshi Tatara & Michelle, Ms Sofia Wan Jan Li and Dr Wan Yu Li & Sean Low.
The fifty households identified for the aid cut across racial lines. Another round of delivery is currently being planned.
