There were two clowns on stilts to provide added entertainment, apart from stage quizzes with prizes to be won. The highlight of the evening was not the display of vintage Volkswagen vehicles, rather a preview of Miss Kebaya by eleven finalists, which I will post separately. Also Winson Voon of 8tv’s foodie programme, Ho Chak! rocked the house down with his band later in the night.

All in all, it was a most enjoyable night. It’s not always we have something like this, and of this scale, in Ipoh, and it is the loss of whoever who did not grab this chance to enjoy! Hey, it was free, after all!
With The Artiste Cuisine & Lounge now in business, I expect more entertainment and carnivals like this being hosted at De Garden. You bet I would be there if I could!
