The Artiste Street Carnival

The Artiste Cuisine & Lounge is a new F&B outlet at De Garden, Ipoh. To celebrate its opening, there was a street carnival at the open car park area of De Garden the night before its official opening date, from 7pm to 1am. Admission was free, but one had to collect a ticket from the office of De Garden beforehand.

The carnival, known as The Artiste Street Carnival, named after the new restaurant, was brought to us by experienced event organiser from Penang, Soul’in Events. It was sponsored by De Garden, among other enterprises.

Besides inflatable games like dry slides and “stick on the wall”, another popular game was the mechanical bull. These were, however, just part of the attractions lined up for the evening. Magician Edison Lim was on hand to showcase his illusions. Those were actually very basic, but even at close range, I couldn’t find any loophole! What is the trick??
