The Annual Ipoh Parade K-Street Carnival is Back, Bigger & Better

Ipoh Parade’s annual K-Street Carnival is back, this time bigger and better, for six days from 18th to 23rd June.

Let’s admit it, we have been bedazzled by the Korean pop culture over the decade, through dramas, music, language, culture and cuisine.

With K-Street Carnival, we are handed the chance to immerse ourselves in all things Korean. Among the not-to-be-missed highlights are the XXXL Bibimbap Demo as well as the Spicy Noodle Challenge where foodies can put their love for the uniquely fiery instant noodle to the test.

Renowned purveyor of imported Korean food and snacks, Shin Sun Mi, will set up a Mini Korean Fair offering a wide selection of Korean goodies such as Korean Instant Noodles, Maxim Coffee, sweets and candies, a fine assortment of chips and nuts, chocolates, wines plus cooking condiments, among others.

Are you a dance enthusiast? If yes, then you should not miss the electrifying K-pop Dance Cover Competition, to be held at Ipoh Parade concourse area on 23rd June at 2pm.

The K-pop Dance Cover Competition is a golden opportunity for amateur dancers to replicate the dance moves of their favourite K-pop stars.

Participants will be adjudged on every aspect of the dance cover, including expression, costume, make-up and choreography. Winners of the competition will walk away with cash and prizes worth up to RM2,000.

All in all, the 6-day K-Street Carnival at Ipoh Parade promises to be an event not to be missed. I’ll be there, what about you?
