Symphony Suites Ramadhan Buffet & BBQ
One of the newest business-class hotels in Ipoh, Symphony Suites, will be offering a good spread of buffet and BBQ during the entire month of Ramadhan. The breaking of fast (berbuka puasa) is akin to the reunion dinners observed by the Chinese community. It’s an important occasion, and is usually done with family and close friends.
Symphony Suites makes it a memorable dinner by serving authentic Malay home-cook cuisine. Chef’s recommendation would be rendang ayam, ayam golek, pajeri terung, sotong masak tumis and bubur lambuk.
This is, however, just a small selection of what to expect because there will be some fifty items served in total, daily. Menus are also rotated on a daily basis, from starters, to dressings, soups, main courses, barbeque items, desserts, beverages and live action stalls. I think the barbeque would be a huge hit with diners. There will be lamb shoulder beef steak, stingray, crab, squid and sausage to whet your appetite.
And I would like to point out that Ipoh’s best mocktail connoisseur is here at Symphony Suites. He was recently crowned champion at the mocktail competition at the Ipoh International Waiters’ Race 2013! Mocktail is served daily, as part of the hotel’s Ramadhan buffet.
This Ramadan BBQ buffet at Symphony Suites will run from 11th July to 8th August, from 6.30pm to 10pm daily. It is RM39.90++ per adult and RM14.90+ for children 12 years old and below. For every ten paying adults, one gets to dine free-of-charge. Also, group bookings of minimum 20 pax will get to enjoy their dinner as a private function with dedicated buffet lines.
