Sushi Tei Olympics – ST Ninja Warrior Games 2019
It was a flurry of activity at the Skywarrior Rainforest Challenge @ Skyrides Park Festival in Putrajaya yesterday as participants competed against one another in the inaugural Sushi Tei Olympics 2019 Ninja Warrior Games.
With prizes worth up to RM10,000 at stake, the competitors, from as young as 9 years old, went all out to try to come up tops, putting their strength, agility and endurance to the test.
There were a total of eight obstacles to overcome, namely, Chelik Falls, Ulu Sepat Claps, Marudi Crossing, Kinabalu Ferrata, Langkawi Walk, Kinabatangan Swing, Cameron Web and Danum Valley.
The 8-part obstacle course saw the boys and girls, men and women, unleash their respective Ninja skills, as fame and glory go to the Ninja who clocked the best time.
Thankfully, the weather was co-operative and did not pose an extra challenge to the contenders.
The junior category almost stole the show. Their fighting spirit and determination shone through as they overcame the obstacle course. To think that they tackled the same obstacles as adults during the qualifying rounds, that was surely impressive.
Have a look at these photos. Yes, we were at Skywarrior Rainforest Challenge @ Skyrides Park Festival, Putrajaya to bring you all the adrenaline pumping action! What a fun event it was, with major gyms sending in teams to put up a strong challenge.
If Sushi Tei comes back with ST Ninja Warrior Games 2020, we predict that there would be more entran ts, especially when everyone had so much fun this round, with superb prizes to win. Additionally, these junior ninjas will return, bigger and stronger one year later. Watch out, guys!
