What a wonderful morning it was, with the co-operation of the weather, for the 7,000 people who came from Ipoh and nearby areas to participate in the 45th edition of Ipoh Car-Free Day.
Held along Jalan Raja Dihilir, Ipoh from 7am until 10am, this Ipoh Car-Free Day was one of the most vibrant, with 80 tents set up.
The theme was International Day of Climate Action, a day observed globally on 24th October.
In addition to achieving the objective of a low carbon city, the Ipoh Car-Free Day programme aims to raise the Index of Happiness among the city folk by fostering awareness on the environment, health, safety, history and heritage of Ipoh.
