SUB Fashion & Make-Up Show
21 “unique” evening gowns were showcased on Saturday afternoon in conjunction with Ipoh Parade’s relaunching carnival.
Designed and created from scratch with bubble wraps by students from SUB International School of Beauty and Make-up, the dresses were paraded by their students as well.
The showcase gave students an opportunity to display their creativity and talent besides following their syllabus for make-up and beauty enhancement strictly.
The models, most of whom were in the public eye for the first time, took to the stage really well, and exuded poise and confidence despite being nervous.
The students took this showcase seriously as they didn’t only design the gowns but also head-gears and had the costume jewellery custom-made.
According to Carrie Lam, General Manager of SUB International School of Beauty and Make-up, bubble wrap dresses are popular in the West, but the fashion trend has yet to catch up here.
With this showcase, perhaps its popularity could even surpass that of loom band dresses!
In today’s post, I am bringing to you all the dresses that were paraded at the fabulous show.
However, it wasn’t merely a fashion show, but also a simultaneous make-up display.
