I was “mall-ing” the other evening and there was a beauty demonstration going on. I encountered these girls who were in ancient Chinese costumes and I asked for a photo which they happily obliged. Turned out that they were there at the mall to promote a make up and nail art academy. They invited me for a demo but I was in a hurry and did not manage to get ONE
miserable free nail art done on my pinkie nail. SIGH!
We’re so happy together!
I don’t get it why they have to be in ancient Chinese costumes. The last I checked, artsy make up and nail art had nothing to do with ancient Chinese times but they sure did manage to catch our attention. Using beautiful girls to attract customers IS an ancient art of marketing, though.
It’s been a long and tiring day
The girls handed this postcard to me, two in fact. For those of you who are interested to attend make up and nail art classes in Ipoh, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Johor Bahru and even Singapore, feel free to visit Plato – The Republic Makeup Academy at http://www.ebeautyasia.com

HHhmm I’d love to learn a beauty skill like this too but I’m a frill-less girl. Nail art is certainly something I cannot keep for long. I don’t even have time to PAINT ’em nails! Anyway, it is just too bad that I only remembered that I should have taken photos of their nails when I was leaving so it was too late already. Suffice to say, they were very fanciful and will surely make a good conversation piece.
