Shooting On Location @ Goddess of Mercy Cave Temple, Ipoh

Visited my friends on location at the Goddess of Mercy cave temple (Kwan Yin Tong) along Jalan Gopeng in Ipoh, where the shooting of a video was taking place one recent morning.

Although no one was willing to disclose the storyline of the video, from what I gathered, it’s about a boy and a girl’s visit to Kwan Yin Tong, where they suddenly discovered the many classic Volkswagen vehicles. They wanted to buy the cars but were put off by the big price tags.

Anyway, whilst some thought this video is to promote the Goddess of Mercy cave temple as a tourist destination in Perak, it looked more like it promoted Volkswagen cars instead. I guess we would only know when the video is ready for public consumption.

My friend, Au Young, was there with his two VW Kombis – his blue clown van and the new pink Kombi that is available for rent as a wedding car. Although it’s not entirely ready yet, he showed me the interior and my, is it impressive!
