“Sentuhan Hawa” probably means something like “a touch of the elements” or maybe just simply, “a touch of air”. It was a full-day of celebrating arts organised by Mashdar Legacy and P.O.R.T., bringing together female artists in the state.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend some of the more interesting activities like airbrush painting demonstration and poetry reading because of time constraints, but I was there for the children’s art competition and art exhibition. There were also stalls set up to sell arts and crafts like printed t-shirts and handmade costume jewellery pieces. Anyway, I’m sharing just shots from the art exhibition.
This edition of Sentuhan Hawa will probably be the first of many as the organisers would like to create a platform to introduce more women artists to Ipohites. Great! Hope to be able to check out the next one without distractions.
