Restaurant Catch by Simonis

Built in the shape of a boat, Restaurant Catch by Simonis, opened for business since last year at the Marina Scheveningen, is one of three restaurants owned by the Simonis family.

Among the three, this is a high class restaurant, as pointed out to me based on the liquor served here, and caters to the upper elite.

In addition to restaurants, the Simonis family also has several seafood shops that supply fresh seafood to many other restaurants in The Hague’s Scheveningen area, hence it is no surprise that Catch’s seafood menu is one of the best and freshest.

Catch has four floors and features an indoor elevator that takes guests to each floor, capable of catering to 500 guests at a time.

The corner lot of a stretch of shops along the harbour, Catch by Simonis offers an amazing panoramic view of the marina, particularly during fine weather, which we did not get to enjoy during our lunch there.

And so, it is a promise to return to this restaurant in the near future to enjoy the view on a fine day.
