New Seafood Restaurant in Ipoh: Zui Xin Lao
There is a new seafood restaurant in Ipoh, just opened for business a month ago. Any guesses where it is located? The answer is: at the same venue of Great Miner Cuisine at Kinta Riverfront Hotel, with a complete revamp of management, crew and concept.
Now known as Zui Xin Lao, it is a seafood restaurant offering a fusion of Chinese and Western culinary styles. Take a look at the presentation of these signature dishes and you will notice that they are unlike other seafood restaurants, at least not in Ipoh so far.
Seafood lovers will be delighted to know that Zui Xin Lao has both local and imported seafood. Take lobster as an example; there are Australian Live Lobster, Boston Lobster and Sabah Lobster.
Talking about lobster, two popular lobster dishes are Lobster Baked with Milky Butter & Coconut Sauce; and Baked with Butter & Pepper. Of course, don’t just take my word for it because for lobster alone, there are more than ten preparation styles!
Then there are Alaskan Spider Crab, Australian Snow Crab, Californian Fresh Live Geoduck, and a good variety of oyster, clam, scallop, prawn, squid and more. A lot more!
Food photos in today’s posts are some of the restaurant’s signature dishes. Don’t know what to order due to the extensive menu? Just pick some of these dishes featured here and you will not go wrong!
Besides, with kitchen staff headed by a chef with over thirty years of experience, we wouldn’t expect anything less than the best.
No matter what you order, you should wrap up your meal with Coconut Pudding. It is one of the most refreshing desserts I have tasted in recent memory.
If you are not huge on seafood, Zui Xin Lao has plenty of other dishes to offer from its à la carte menu. Flipping through it, I can say that the prices are really reasonable and pocket-friendly.
Currently on-going is a special set lunch promotion, until 24th June, 2017. Available daily for lunch only, the sets are good for four pax (RM138 nett), seven pax (RM268 nett) or ten pax (RM380 nett).
By the way, if you have yet to make plans for Parents’ Day, Zui Xin Lao has lined up four set menus for you to celebrate this auspicious occasion with your beloved parents. With nine course meals for lunch or dinner, they are priced from RM658 nett, RM888 nett, RM928 nett and RM1158 nett.
Is there more good news? Of course! Each set menu comes with complimentary two portions of individually served bonus dish plus free flow of Chinese tea. This promotion is valid for two months from 1st May to 30th June only.
If you would like to dine at Zui Xin Lao, especially with all these irresistible promotions for such mouth-watering dishes, do place your reservation by calling the number provided below.
